My association with it will always be looking through VNDB and trying to figure out whether a VN has a route where a heroine is raped, its some cuckshit, or if the MC seduces somebody else's girl.
That's not really what NTR is today though. Modern NTR is its own genre with its conventions that writers intentionally produce, not as much a categorization of existing stories. Many of those types do exist as subgenres within it, but have largely mixed: the differences in the willingness of the girl or the perspective character are just kinda irrelevant when everything still follows the same conventions.
