>>8669319 (OP)I guess the composition and an overall lack of style and any individuality that would be inherent to it if it were drawn by an actual artist.
By averaging on everything that the model was trained on, it ends up not looking like anything at all. That includes the coloring which is consistent between pieces generated by the same model. Basically, what this anon said
>>8669491If you see enough of them, your brain just picks up on the patterns that the model relies on.
Next, AI, for some reason, really struggles to make a character look like themselves. Usually it fucks up the hair, body proportions and, to a lesser extent, face. Basically, the characters are off-model when you know that it wasn't intended as such. I can't pin point why exactly, but the pic in OP does not look like megumin to me. Maybe it, as well, is due to the lack of any character design-specific pieces of clothing or items. And, I imagine, if you were to ask it to add them (like, say, her staff or robe) it would really struggle to include it into the picture in a manner that would make sense logically.
And another thing I want to say does not neccessarily have to do something with to this pic, but, more often than not, characters in AI-generated images have lifeless fucking eyes that aren't looking at anything/are directed somewhere where it doesn't make sense in the context.
That's more or less how I would tell and without rehearsing other anon's points.
But that's if I'm asked to articulate it all.
In reality, I don't even have it think about it and it's obvious right away.
If you CAN'T tell it's AI, are you really human?
