For older 4channers, the CG Shrines even predated this site and had a lot of stuff we took for granted.

The mags and doujinshi from that time were really good, much better than the digital crap coming out nowadays. And those that did want to work digitally back then had much worse tools than are available now. Touchscreens didn't exist, much less digital drawing tablets.
