conceptually they're both weak, but the technologies or rather common sense around filtering out garbage (whether that's ramping up the SDXL denoiser, cutting VAE layers or otherwise) seems to be the main benefit of NAI tech.

Lately I have been trying to generate Khyle style art (if you're unfamiliar, they're a fanartist who often draws slightly lewd or funny art on the surface with dark implications when you look closer. They don't normally draw much outright porn, but they do draw nudity.) My goal is to make stuff that feels like something they would actually draw, not just in the same style, hence the dark implications. (Of course, I wouldn't want them to be so dark that they aren't sexy, since I'm still genning hentai at the end of the day)

Would that be okay to post here? (The style is technically western art, but it's anime style) Also, if people have ideas for situations that would fit, I'm open to them. I'm pretty happy with the one I've done so far, though. Took a lot of tries to get right.

I keep looking at ControlNet/IP-Adapter/Kontext/Qwen-Image-Edit loras and I'm wondering where all the activity is, or rather isn't.
Training image pairs to create new features in an image model is slept on. I'm gonna try run some Kontext and Qwen Image Edit lora runs and see if I can't move the needle on people paying attention to it for anime smut
There's already a "make nude" lora for Qwen Image Edit.
If you lack imagination, consider:
Automatic demosaic/uncensor for doujin panels.
Converting halftone to greyscale or vice-versa.
Applying tattoos, or conversely, extracting them. This could even be exploited to extract arbitrary cloth/eye textures and such for say Koikatsu.
2koma instant loss of an arbitrary character.
Afterimage/sensible motion blur, or the removal of it.
You get the idea, the applications are slept on for sure.
Currently downloading 60+GB of Qwen Image Edit weights see you on the other side.

Don't let NAI scratch their balls and pat themselves on the back, get training.

this is like saying pre-pony sdxl nsfw loras are all you need. loras are not a replacement for finetunes. the problem with nsfw loras is that they have limited knowledge and cannot extrapolate deeper meaning outside of the very specific niche case they were trained for. instant loss lora for example. it wouldn't have a deep understand of sexual concepts or poses to customize outputs and wouldn't understand any of the nsfw elements in the training data.
when training on concept on illust, it already understands 90% of the nsfw content making the remaining 10% possible with a lora. qwen loras could be a useful tool for dataset construction, but i don't see them being used for actual hentai gens

The Qwen Image Edit training went (is going) well.
Had to redownload the diffusers model variant through ai-toolkit but it's showing way more promise than musubi tuner in as low as 500-750 steps
