Just do a headswap if the bodies are so different that a headswap won't do, then a clothing swap would be very difficult as well.

The tube top was a somewhat iconic part of Burnice's outfit to me so unfortunate to see it gone. Though I don't mind this outfit. Only notes I have about it are:
The red part at the top looks awkward here, though it looks fine with the jacket on. So it would only matter if you plan to show her partially undressed with jacket off. If you do then I think it should connect better with the black part somehow.
Personal preference but I'd like the clothing material to look closer to her original tube top. So have more shine/gloss, I think the red part at the top also works as reference. The visible stitches on the outfit also makes appear to be made of a different material, a thicker wool or something. I'm picturing it to be smoothed out, like a standard leotard. Think of it as her original tube top but expanded and formed into this shape.
Though outfits aren't a big deal for me and these are relatively minor details. I don't mind if you just roll with what you have and focus on the scenes/animations. Especially if outfit modification is not easy/time consuming for you.

It's a trap many fall into.
Do not overcomplicate things that don't need complexity. For example if you need simple bouncy tits don't use cloth sim, just use jiggle bone, faster, simple, and you can barely tell a difference. Only if you need something specific like someone grabbing the boob, then it's cloth sim time. An important skill in animation is to know when NOT to do something. And when to fake things.

It is looking really nice, but MMD will always be an option if the animation process is too time consuming in blender.
As a single image I think it looks good, but in motion I think MMD will always be king, it just has a charm that blender can't capture idk. Still happy jelly is expanding his skills though.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I really want to do alot of tweaks to the way it looks, because it's looking a little bit sterile. I know what you mean by losing the charm going from MMD to Blender, and I'm trying to avoid that as much as possible. But I think I gotta stop stressing about that and get to learning animation and physics. I've scrapped so many test animations at this point and I really want to give the Patreons something for their support. I can also see the potential of bringing a lot of ideas that I just couldn't do in MMD to life in Blender. I just need to keep studying.

Finally, if you needed to, you would have to insert all the padding with '='. It's easy enough to do with this reference table but fuck no I'm not doing it for huge URLS.
