Thinking about actually getting into Hentai diffusion models by training specific stuff that i find very hot. I even got some starting capital to get a pretty good hardware setup going for high quality models. The only problem is that i'm not very techy and from what i've read from the guides in the sticky, it seems managable but will probably take a lot of experimentation until you get decent results.

You guys are probably familiar with PS-AI, Lustbild, AIJUICER and their highquality-sets that they are producing on their own models on patreon. I would like to do pretty much the same. Only high res high quality stuff. But also more niche. Because those guys are mostly only covering the most popular girls. Still i don't know if its worth it. The uncertainty that i might be too retarded to wrap my head around this shit is bothering me - especially since i got no reference point because i've never worked with any kind of AI custom shit other basic ass LLM's which i never had to finetune or train. It really doesn't help that there are almost no videos of how to train a model properly on youtube, which sucks ass.

Judging by some pictures here in the thread a few of you get pretty solid results. Can you tell me a bit about the workflow? How much time it takes to train a decent model? How much did you had to fuck around with it until it clicked somewhat?

It actually doesn't, it damages the model itself and fucks things up(usually to the merges detriment) But the real difference is that if you're just using the base model+a lora you can, you know, turn the lora off. You can use a different lora and not have that first lora impact performance of the second. You aren't irreversibly fucking up a neural network or subjecting a CLIP model conditioned to expect one thing to something entirely different.
Model merges are nebulous and different but the end result is still damaging the model, fucking up its expectations and on top of it making it completely fucking untrainable in addition to making anything trained on the model merge predecessors significantly worse.

The only "benefit" from using these merges is laziness in the form of "b-b-but I don't wanna use a lora or think! I'd rather download another whole ass 6.8gb model instead!"

I don't mind paying a bit of money (I'm already subbed to NAI) but I want to be able to do lewd shit without having to find work-arounds like with most AI things. Civit has an on-site generator and if you browse the user generated stuff gallery you can "remix" (or something like that) any image and it will copy paste the parameters into the generator, allowing you to edit the prompt and whatnot.
I think video gen on Civit is a bit expensive, though, and you'll likely have to do a bunch of rerolls before you get a decent result.
