vibe transfer is hot garbage used as a coping mechanism for v4.5's awful style reproduction. You can train a 1dim lora off of 1-3 images for 50 steps@batch1 and get something with significantly more impact on the output.

it's a 3 image dataset@512 steps(think something intended to be a "vibe transfer," on steroids). artist was betabeet. EPS doesn't really pick up textures on these sorts of datasets as much as it should though(made worse since this artist has a lot of generic-ness to it), I'll do an identical vpred one in a bit after testing something else.
either way this is mostly a small sample test to see what sort of things actually get expressed from this artist and if it's worth considering doing a larger dataset run at it.

it actually works fine at higher dims, too. low dataset loras are a lot more flexible than people want to give credit; it's mostly the low step count allowing them to not just fry in completely.
doing dumb 1dim things was more just taking the idea to an extreme to allow it to be as sharable as possible. The config also actually works fairly okay when increased to 2800~ steps and using a 14~20 image dataset.
also should probably note that that migu-pit output was using something completely different. Also also as a working example of what I meant by EPS not being able to pick up texturing like I want, here's the lora that was used there, but trained on vpred

if you're using a base model like illustrious or noobai raw a single artist tag isn't enough to stabilize them and they tend to be lackluster in background detail even if you put a lot of tags relevant to background items, lighting etc
a large tagsoup of artists will reduce the chaos (but also reduce the creativity that can happen just by changing seed), strengthen anatomy and depending on the artist tags, summon much more detailed backgrounds
you don't need to do that with most shitmixes though because that's the whole point of their existence, they merge tons of artist lora at low strength to get a "base" visual that fits whatever the shitmix maker prefers, and as a bonus if you use a single artist tag, while it may not be as faithful to the artist as raw noob, it will work stably and won't explode into "hand melted into article of clothing" "three arms" "armless" as often as it would with 1 tag, raw noob

arguably their issue isn't that they can't do anime -- imho they do really good anime with the right LoRAs -- it's that they can't do NSFW.
It's similar to the situation with SDXL before we had pony. Pony wasn't an anime model either (most of its dataset is furry sepia garbage). Pony was beloved here because it could handle complex rearrange of sexual positions and scenes, something you can't add to a model with a LoRA because position LoRA tend to create overfit where every image feels like it was generated from the same mold.
For people who only care about the NSFW side of imagen as a whole, there was indeed no decent new model in years.
