Although I'm shocked by how puritanical some ABDL people on the internet can be I really do think this is a major issue for everyone if you either: a.) Care about free speech. Or b.) Consume porn in any capacity.

I don't think it goes far enough though, and it doesn't matter unless the sites that host content and the ABDL content creators actually threaten to push back as far as hosting their content legally on these sites goes.
I do think the internet is getting more and more sanitized every day and we should be pushing back against this.

It's both. I'm not kidding. I know 'both sides' is an argument that the left and the right both groan at but it's fucking true in this case. Both sides have contingents that hate porn.

On the right there always has been, and still is, a large population of religiously motivated people who think that any expression of sexuality is wrong. The sort of people who legitimately dream up and try to implement something like Project 2025. These people are real, very prevalent, and have a lot of influence. There's no denying that.
There's also a much smaller subsection of the alt-right that isn't religiously motivated, but still anti-porn and anti-sexual expression because they think it's 'healthier' and think they're morally superior for not consuming porn, and want to discourage it for others.
There's also a fair number of men on the internet who I assume still consume porn on a regular basis, and aren't necessarily politically motivated, but lash out at female content creators and get them driven off platforms for a variety of reasons.
On the left yes, it's absolutely true that feminism and the way that media perception has shifted in the last few years has made it much more unpopular for there to be adult content targeted specifically at straight men or to have conventionally attractive women in products you're trying to sell.
Some people will shut down any hint of female sexuality if they think it could be appealing to men. Just go on tiktok or instagram and despite all the thirst traps you see on there, you'll also see endless seas of women complaining about it using feminist language and talking points.
In my city, there was a female politician years ago who spoke of wanting to shut down strip clubs under the banner of 'protecting women.' The same logic is applied to porn as well. Many people see it as sexually exploitative to women, regardless of whether or not they're engaging in it consensually and knowledgeably, or having fun with it.

People who reject "both sides" arguments that are fundamentally true are willingly sticking their heads in the sand for the sake of partisanship. Not every "both sides" argument is true, but in this case, authoritarian forces from both sides are doing this.

The religious right has always had a moral panic about pornography. Utah (one of the reddest states in the U.S.) called it an epidemic. You can even find many Republicans who would ban it outright if they weren't blocked by the First Amendment.
On the left, you have the weird sex-negative feminists such as Collective Shout, who view all forms of pornography as some kind of rape. On a broader scale, there is another movement on the left (with some overlap with sex-negative feminists) that likes porn, but wants only the porn that they want (read: porn not aimed at straight men).

It's both, and ignoring one side because you hate the other is how the problem gets worse.

"Can" being the operative word. Most porn is just a way to make money, but there are chicks who do it because they're into it.

Assuming this argument is in good faith, do you support freedom of speech? The argument is not about whether or not porn is 'good' for people. I think people can legitimately debate whether or not porn is healthy for individuals. However, this is about and whether or not people should have the option to buy porn. In which case I think the answer is yes.
Even if porn is bad for you I think people should have the freedom to do things that are bad for them.
