I'm not sure who those are but I am sure they'll say everything under the sun can be explained by socio-economic factors & culture, so most likely kosher in their beliefs and knowledge at best. South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China have the most developed, high-trust cities that I've ever seen. China basically developed fusion energy. Anyway, people were researching these things for hundreds of years and came to the same conclusions. Most western institutions who were researching these things were torn down around a few decades ago due to political reasons.
