Let it be known that 90% of the cope posting about the south is because they won the civil war.
Every major player on the southern side got away with it with at most a smack on the wrist. Very few southerners lost the power they held before the war, and even fewer were executed. In some cases, they even gained more power than they had before.
The few that were had committed some of the most henious forms of torture at Andersonville(Ironically the swedish dude who was executed wasn't even the one who did most of the torture. The ones that did all got away with it.) or had engaged in injun tier savagery (like bushwackers mass raping entire towns in Kentucky, Kansas, and even parts of Ohio.
