So I've been thinking...
If Jesus died for our sins and we continue to reject him then what did he die for?

Suppose he was a real man. Let's even go further and suppose he was schizophrenic and a wack job. Also let's assume he believed everything he said and that he was just a crazy man. Now I ask the same question...what did this man die for?

Matthew 22:34-40

Love god with all your heart and love your neighbor as you would yourself

Suppose this hypothetical crazy man actually believed this. Like totally 100% in his being really believed and lived it. Where does that leave us? What would you have to say about this man?
Anonymous No.17777821 [Report]
I think this would make him a bhakti yogin. That's pretty heavy to think about. And then if this was true for people to still reject him. man that's like literally the saddest thing I've ever thought about...
Anonymous No.17777827 [Report]
Crazy or not, misguided or not...such a man would be truly worthy. Worthy of what? The ultimate respect and adoration. Truly the best of us. idk I'm just thinking out loud...this shits been bugging me today

He died to give you a chance not to reject him, but he knew that most of the world, including most of his own people, would not take advantage of that opportunity.

I'm not really even considering the whole "make it into heaven and be with god angle". I'm just thinking about a man who loved his fellow humans to such a degree that he knew the world (I'm talking of a demiurge/gnostic world here) would turn itself against him 100% and ultimately destroy him, yet said "I don't care, I'm doing it anyway"...man that's really something.

Face it bros...no bullshit the world is a messed up place to find yourself. Have to kill to survive and stay here. Everything you enjoy and love you will ultimately be separated from, guaranteed to experience old age, sickness and death (if everything goes right in your life even), this is not a good state to find ourselves in. I speak from personal experience here, the world turns on real truth seakers who live it.

I'm not even especially religious, every church in existence would call me a heretic. Noah's are seems fake and gay, people can't come back from the dead, immaculate conception is made up, ... etc all the standard shit we bash the christcucks for. Yet the idea of a man (just a man) willing sacrificing himself to love all of us because he knew the world would turn against him and doing it anyway extremely disturbing. Like we owe him a debt or something. idk it's just getting to me like I said earlier

Jesus is (you), and sin is knowledge. You're supposed to "die" to gain knowledge. Read a book for once other than the bible on this subject.

Why would I let someone die for my sins? That seems like a huge cop out for any personal responsibility desu.

>"die" to gain knowledge

There was a group of men in a war, and they came up to a mine field. Our Anon said to them, "who here wants to be king? Feel free to lead the way". There was a man among them who thought of himself as a God, so he stepped forward, and exploded.
"JESUS CHRIST!" Exlaimed the soldiers, as blood and flesh splattered onto their faces.
Our Anon said, "Your way has been made straight by the king" and the soldiers followed the LORD, single file, through the field of mines.

For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few

One nature of two is imited by humanity, as an act of love. Do not cease, but with the gift of free will, seek a measure of two, or three.

Oh ya, I just realized a contradiction to what I said. The "sin" is the ordinary kind of knowledge. Call it rationality, which is where your ego resides. The death is the redemption of sin, because through ego death, you shed all of these built up beliefs in your ego that aren't true. Then, after ego death if you did it properly, you gain a new kind of knowledge about what lies underneath, unfettered by rationality.

What is the difference between knowledge and wisdom? Knowledge is the collection of facts, wisdom is the application of that knowledge in practice, beneficial ways. But how do we "convert" knowledge in to wisdom? Sin my friends. Thru sin, trial and error, repercussions and consequences we learn how to be moral. Sin is the "fuel" that feeds the fire that converts knowledge into wisdom. Sin is absolutely necessary for this.

Just something I was thinking about today. Also I'm OP
