The only group of Greeks from city states that fought with the Macedonians were from Thessaly. Calling their wars just as Greek is disingenuous even if you believe that they were 1 trillion % Greek because the Macedonians did have a different structure and society compared to city states, it was the political will and largely the military efforts of the Macedonian state which accomplished what Alexander and Philip did, not the rest of Greece. It'd be like calling the Athenian Empire an Arcadian Empire. It's nonsensical.
