imagine being spain in the 1500s, they just found out an infinite money glitch in
potosí, in a world where gold and silver are the only universal currencies with huge demands, they could just go on a shopping spree on asian wares and whatnot, crazy. with that being said, i think them flooding the world's market with money was definitely one of the bigger things that advanced our civilization, thoughts?

The saddest part is Spain during its peak couldn't make one(1) lasting conquest. They couldn't even hold onto fucking Portugal a meme people that were hardly different. All that money just to trade blows with france and fucking around in northern Italy and the low countries.

France during its age of strength made lasting conquests conquering and holding significant parts of what was tben german territory.
