The Indo-Europeans have conquered much of the world, culturally, spiritually, and linguistically. Culturally, through the Europeans, they basically made the whites, who are themselves Indo-Europeans, considered the hottest race. Many of the beauty standards of the modern world are shaped by Western standards. Spiritually, through the Indo-Aryans, they spread the religion of Buddhism all the way to Japan and their influence is heavy. Also, they conquered the world through languages too. One of the most dominant languages in the world are English, Spanish, and Hindi, which are all Indo-European.

That's why transhumance is traditionally practiced. Look at the big old ranches in the United States with lots of cattle and horses. That's a continuation and further development of IE culture.
