Your country becomes a monarchy. Who's monarch, and why? Any significant pretenders?
>my country is already a monarchy
The Monarchy falls, and is replaced by a Republic. How long ago was the last major Republican rebellion/movement in your country, and is it related to the monarchy's fall?

To my knowledge we've never had a major (or even a minor) republican rebellion, the early political parties were republican and during the early 20th century they had the chance to peacefully abolish the monarchy but they decided to postpone it until the people had a chance to make their voices heard and I think it just stopped being an issue because the transition from a monarchy to representative democracy was pretty smooth and peaceful. We generally like our royals even if they are French newcomers.
>>17783451it is very funny that the Swedish Monarchy is literally just descended from John Coolguy from Napoleon's armies.

Well I guess it depends on how it happens.
Nobody would ever take the Windsors back, so I guess our choices are:
>invite the O'Neills back from Portugal
>invite the O'Briens back from England
>invite the O'Connors back from England or the US
