>>17783738 (OP)To be fair he sterilized himself on purpose. That's the end goal of scientism. Mass sterilization and alphabet nonsense. I have a theory that the history of philosophy and its attempts towards specialization and branching off into biology, zoology, botany, etc is a march towards eventual human annihilation. Yeah a lot of that shit is pretty damn interesting and it's fine to have a Weltaanschung, or worldview (even i do and I write a lot of theory in my spare time) but most thinkers end up childless and alone and rationalize their way out of the gene pool. It doesn't help that philosophy birthed antinatalism and feminism, two things which are driving the global collapse, along with Spinoza's elimination of causality (a precursor to the antihumanist communism of Althusser) and Hume's separation between psychological and philosophical knowledge which disenchanted the world (like how Max Weber saw the seeds of which in the reformation churches). Not to mention antinatalism giving birth to organizations like the Voluntary Human Extinction movement. Most of what's preventing humans from returning to a pre-Axial age is the perpetual cynicism that seems to plague most of society, far removed from what Greek cynicism even stood for.
