Tito was proof of ultimate superiority of the marxist-leninist-socialist model. He transformed a rural agrarian kingdom of Southern slavs into an industrialized major player in the cold war. He defied Stalin and gave Yugoslavia its own destiny.

Tito's only mistake was not obliterating the Serbian ethnic identity.

Tito never failed Yugoslavia, and God didn't either - Serbians did. Tito should have done the right thing and institute programs to have Serbs intermarry, or at the very least, have their children taken in formative years and returned when they were properly educated.

It is completely unreal how a small tribe of Southern Slavs can unravel so much. In a way, it's almost admirable how much trouble the Serb has caused not just Europe, but the world.

It's not vaguely similar it's the same. Slovene, Bulgarian and Albanian are very different but the core Croatia/Bosnia/Serbia part is a natural nation and probably would have lasted if it had been created a few decades earlier
