Because they got almost entirely bought out during the Napoleonic wars and 18th century. The Jews fairly successfully infested almost all levels of British politics/finance/banking and didn't immediately discard their host nation, instead using their tremendous initiative to carve out important features of the new world. Usually when you see an Anglo behaving in an atrocious manner he is doing so at the behest of some mysterious benefactor.

When they witnessed our power, they felt envy.

When they experienced our fairness, they saw stupidity.
When they experienced our kindness, they saw weakness.
They want all the things we have, but they can't create or maintain it themselves, so they embrace an identity around "oppression" to justify taking all we have built ourselves. The world doesn't deserve the Anglo-saxon, who would no doubt be the master of the stars had the rest of the world not pulled at his feet.
Should modernity bring us to ruin, nothing half as great as the British Empire will be born in the next ten thousand years.
