If Israel just wants peace, then why did they built all those settlements on west bank? it's very clear they are trying to assimilate and destroy palestine piece by piece

Israel is simply defending itself.
The Palestinians are being the aggressors here by rejecting Israeli demands.
Just like how Germany defended herself against Polish aggression.

They seized it from Jordan and were like... oh this is nice it'd be a shame if we gave it back. Then you get the settlement creep in the interstitial parts of the West Bank and on the high ground that end up turning into full-fledged cities. The Jordan Valley in the east that's under military control secures the eastern flank.

Israel should annex Area C (90%+ Jewish anyway) and remove all deeper settlements which are mostly motivated by religious motives, While still maintaining military control over Area B for security reasons.

2 state solution is impossible with Radical Islam, Low IQ population and eternal western support the Palestinians get as a result for being anti-Jewish, So just kill it for good and be clear about the boundaries, Which's something Israel always wanted to be ambiguous about. Israel doesn't own shit to anybody anyway, They already offered a peace deal 5 times, The Israeli public itself elected 2 prime ministers for the sole purpose of ending the conflict diplomatically, But the Palestinians made it clear that you can't offer a finite solution to infinite problem again and again.

The only way to "fix" the problem is to get the fuck out of their land. Why should the Palestinians accept the existence of an Israeli state if they explicitly have plans on taking the rest of the territory at some future point? If you want to imitate the Europeans in colonizing an indigenous people then be prepared for constant struggle. The difference between countries like Spain and England and a country like Israel is that they had a framework to bring many nations under their fold, they were "empires." Israel will never be the heart of an empire because the Israelis don't have what it takes to govern one.

Honestly think the best strategy for Palestinians is to adopt a non-violent movement demanding equal rights modeled on a Mandela or MLK. People will say "they tried that" but it doesn't work unless there's a general commitment to non-violence. Somewhat like the First Intifada in the 1980s. The Israelis won't give up the West Bank because the Tel Aviv metropolitan area including the airport is right across the Green Line. I think this attempt to destroy Israel in a military-like way has been a disaster.

Other way around. If poles wanted peace they would have stayed in Ukraine instead of settling in Prussia and Baltic land.

>Why should the Palestinians accept the existence of an Israeli state if they explicitly have plans on taking the rest of the territory at some future point?
Because Israel is stronger than them and each time they fight back it leads to them getting weaker and ending up in an even worse position than before. If they want to defeat Israel they need to wait until Israel is at its weakest, and October 7th was not that moment.
>If you want to imitate the Europeans in colonizing an indigenous people then be prepared for constant struggle.
That's why they're slowly settling the West Bank and obliterating Gaza, it's everyone else who is seething about Israel's actions. They've already won.
>Israel will never be the heart of an empire because the Israelis don't have what it takes to govern one.
Other than schizos who dream of 'Greater Israel' they've never had the intentions of becoming an empire, only becoming the sole rulers of Palestine which they believe is their rightful lands, and they've been successful at this goal.

Yeah and it was horrifying. But strategic non-violence uses the enemy's violence against them. When you adopt a military strategy and start killing their civilians too it just turns into a bloodbath that will be settled by force of arms where Israel has all of the advantages.

I realize Hamas' supporters believe that Israel blowing Gazans to smithereens is serving to isolate Israel internationally, but Israelis won't listen to international pressure because they were attacked, so it's self-defeating. The Israelis simply will not let themselves be destroyed in some war-like fashion.

Of a total population of 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza only 103k have left since the start of the conflict, West Bank has a further 2.7 million Palestinians.

The simple fact is no country on Earth is going to admit 100k let alone 5 million palis purely to solve Israel's problems, not even the most fanatical evangelicals would accept the resettlement of 5 million palis across the US heartland
