If you actually sincerely believe that anyone who isn't converted to Christianity is going to suffer indescribable agony and torture for all of eternity as all Christians are supposedly required to believe, then it becomes not just moral, but the ONLY moral goal in life to convert as many people as possible by whatever means possible no matter how "unethical" they may be. In fact it becomes evil to NOT be forcibly converting everyone you can as fast as possible to save them from a fate worse than death. Under this logic, any kind of forced conversion can (and was) justified, because it was saving the pagans from literally being burnt alive in hell forever.
