Did you know both of these men were democratically elected? No the elections weren't "rigged". Believe it or not this is who the Italian and German people voted for. Normies tend to have this belief that "human beings are naturally liberal" and "if an authoritarian leader is elected it's because he cheated". This simply isn't true though.

You're using the one election that wouldnt pass as democratic by any standard as your main argument lol. What happened in 1933 election is common in banana republics that we dont regard as free and fair elections.

Lets do a little test. Let's assume it's election year in your country now in 2025, and the local labour/social democrat party in your country does the following to your party:
1. The party you want to vote for is prevented from campaigning.
2. The party you want to vote for isnt allowed to hold rallies or display campaign material.
3. The party you want to vote for has its representatives arrested and its members beaten and threatened.
4. The party you want to vote for can only be reported negatively in every media.
5. The party you want to vote for are being censored in every media.
6. Come voting day, every voting station has armed men from the Social Democrat/Labour party there to check who you are voting for. While you personally might not be intimidated, would others?
7. During this process, the police are being withheld from intervening.

Is the democratic process of an election compromised if voters and candidates cannot express their views without fear? Are legal suppression of civil liberties just days before the vote unfair? Is an election unfair if voters do not have access to pluralistic, uncensored information? Or when your opponent party who are in government, uses the government resources to supress the election, when other parties are being violently disrupted and criminalized, but your opponent can say it's still democratic because the party still has their name on the ballot.

The last REAL democratic election was in 1932, and NSDAP recieved 33% of the vote. The Socialist parties combined got nearly 40% of the vote that election. So where did these 40% of Germanys people go just a few months later? Did they just disappear?

33% of the vote doesnt not justify dictatorial power.

Also, would you have the same opinion if the roles were reversed and it was the communist party that did what the NSDAP did and then ruled with absolute power?

Hindenburg along with other conservatives was scared of commies and thought they could control the nazis if they gave Hitler the Chancellorship, only for Hitler to LMAO emergency powers his way into outlawing any non nazi party.

They were indeed rigged. They were rigged against Hitler that is. And he still won.

>This is what Hitler read on the newspaper as he sat down

Not possible because the only newspaper in the world that used that headline was a English paper, and Hitler did not understand english (which is why Paul Schmidt is seen in every photo during the Munich conference).

Also, it's fantastic how chuds suddenly worship typical media sensationalist headlines as soon as there is one which seemingly confirm their narrative.
But in every other cases journalists are gay and dishonest. hmmm

Pic rel is literally from the same paper. I guess every sensationist headline should be taken as a logical objective fact to understand the world.
