Jesus said you cannot tell others to remove a speck from their eye whilst you have a plank in your own. In the parable of the good Samaritan, the Samaritan could not help others if he himself did not have wealth to begin with.

I'm not Christian or communist, and I believe Jesus's message was corrupted from what he *actually preached*. The Bible being mostly a work of fiction and Christianity being mostly of Paul's creation.

But going by the bible says, yes, Jesus is certainly a *protocommunist*. He's all for surrendering to authority, giving your things away, and deliberate vows of poverty and service to your fellow man.

If Jesus's teachings weren't as well known, a lot of direct quotes from Jesus could have just as easily come from a guy like Marx or Lenin.

That's why it blows my mind when hardcore capitalist types say they're following the philosophy of Jesus. All that shows is their complete ignorance of the Bible.
