Was the Bulldog drunk when he signed this? How on Earth did he think this wouldn't delegitimize British imperialism in the long term?
>"the yanks aren't REALLY going to fuck us over with this, it's just empty promises"
or something to that effect
>>17799259 (OP)It was already close to dead anyway.
>>17799259 (OP)Churchill was half-American and emotionally blinded by that. More cold blooded realists in Britain knew the Americans would be ruthless to them post-war and dismantle the empire, but Churchill fell for his own "English speaking peoples" meme.
Churchill was a fat fuck who somehow became head of state by his loud mouth talk. In a way he is like Trump, lucked into a situation and became head of state.
US is, was and always will be a ruthless business conglomerate. Many mistake it to be a country with some values but it isn’t. It’s a business conglomerate masquerading as a country.
Look at WW2, the business conglomerate that is US enabled Holocaust among other things by sending its IBM division to help the Nazis. When WW2 was lost by Nazis the business conglomerate raped British and left it in poverty and built their empire over its grave. This same business conglomerate called US then 50 years later sold all its industrial base to China to make more money and is now almost destroyed by this mistake. While China is thriving, rural America is destroyed by fentanyl addiction. Urban America held by fake stonk market and forever rising home prices which Fed pumps every day by QE and buying Mortgage securities.
Point is Churchill made the mistake thinking America is a country with values when it’s just a ruthless business conglomerate always striving for more money and power like any corporate company. From using slave labor for cotton farms to giving independence to blacks( which was done to increase GDP cuz more working men= more GDP and more capital) to outsourcing industrial base to China, it all makes sense only if you think of it as business conglomerate
>>17799259 (OP)it was a desperation move, keep in mind when it was signed and how Britain was doing in the war at that time
>>17799259 (OP)this is just generic mumbo jumbo
>>17799259 (OP)>3.So when is the great Satan going to decolonise Dixieland?
>>17800893You don’t colonize Satans kingdom, you destroy it like it never existed
