The U.S. should have allied with Germany and forced Britain to accept a “truce” with the Nazis. Germany would receive American lend lease in their war against the Soviets. I’m pretty sure Germany wouldn’t have declared war on the U.S. under such conditions. Once the Germans defeated the Soviets and the Americans are able to create an atomic bomb, the truce is broken and the U.S. without warning nukes Berlin. The American and British militaries move in and all of Europe including Russia is under capitalist rule.

No. Even if Germany had won the war they would still have been commies. Without lend-lease the Soviets would have had a much harder time fighting the invading Germans without the logistical support, weapons, and supplies from America and Britain - but Barbarossa was such a failure of a plan that there was basically no way that the Germans could have won unless the Soviets just randomly decided to capitulate shortly after the invasion began for no particular reason (actually what Hitler was banking on with that plan).

That would mean you’d have to overthrow America’s first communist dictator FDR
