The fact that they held out against the Wehrmacht is the evidence for this, because their generals and soldiery definitely weren't the key factors. What really kept the Soviets in the war that also came from Lend-Lease was the food sent by America, they already were at near starvation levels before the war began and lost most of their farmland by July of 41, not getting most of it back until summer of 44. The Germans recognized before they planned the invasion that the land they would take would essentially mean anyone who remained in soviet controlled territory was going to starve. This is one of the many reasons why they kept expecting a soviet collapse, even into 43 and 44.
