Capitalism is when some richfag accuses you of being a bum and takes all your hard earned money away.
Communism is when some party member accuses you of being bourgeoisie and takes all your hard earned money away.
National Socialism is when the dear leader accuses you of being a jew and takes all your hard earned money away.

They did, but how does that change the destructive effects of markets on the environment?

Markets can be regulated. Capitalist countries got together to ban CFCs and now the ozone hole is healing. I just don't think 19th century totalitarian political ideologies are necessary to solve those problems

They can't. Richfags own the regulations.
>I just don't think 19th century totalitarian political ideologies are necessary to solve those problems
Same. I don't want to abolish capital or private property. Richfags do, but only for you.

Why didn't the rich prevent lead from being taken out of gasoline, or DDT from being banned, or tobacco from being eradicated, or the Clean Air and Clean Water acts from being passed, or emissions standards from being enacted, or plastic bags from being banned? Or literally any of the other bounds of progress we've made?

I think we'll be okay, even with the class war as it is
