Even if this was true this directly benefited muh volk/ancestors who were Germanics plus they became Christian and evolved from tribal societies into feudal ones with stoneworking. Also all empires have to fall anyway.

The Roman Empire didn't fall because of Christianity, it fell because for the vast majority of people, defending it was no longer worthwhile. When Rome was expanding/at its height, being part of it meant guaranteed protection from invaders, access to a global trade network, guaranteed jobs in the legions, etc. When Rome was declining, it just meant more taxes for private collectors while slaves took all the jobs, nobles took all the land, and the same Germans who used to raid your farm now run the army. At that point, you're better off swearing fealty to them than trying to appeal for help from some drunken degenerates hundreds to thousands of miles away.
