How would you know if yahweh and/or yeshua was a malevolent spirit who has supernaturally deceived billions into worshiping it and feeding it their souls?

Romans equated Yahweh with Saturn, the Roman equivalent of the Greek titan Cronus, who was overthrown by Zeus during the Titanomachy and banished to Tartarus. If they were correct that Yahweh was Cronus/Saturn, then it’s obvious that Yahweh-Cronus created Judaism, Christianity, and by extension Islam as a coping mechanism due to losing the Titanomachy

By asking you to be righteous? How does one obeying rigtheous laws leads to a malevolent spirit being fed?

>Be evil spirit
>Want to feed off people through pain and suffering
>Evil is by its nature destructive and self-destructive when done excessively
>If you support a bunch of evil people they will inevitably destroy each other as there is "no honor among thieves"
>eureka.jpg
>Establish myself as the only deity to call upon and then create a set of laws with promises attached for obedience
>Never really fulfill the promises, but bless religious leaders and political authorities who say that the promises are true
>Meanwhile, support the goals of just enough evil people to cause immense pain and suffering so people always turn to me
>Also send out evil spirits to torment and harass my faithful followers as well as people who stray from my cult
>Let my lawful followers have their occasional victories but never let them be truly satisfied
It's the only sustainable model. If he only ever supported evil people eventually society would stomp his cult out.

We don’t really know much about the origins of Yahweh beyond that he wasn’t originally part of the Canaanite pantheon and that Israelites (very likely) picked up his cult through contact with southern nomadic tribes.

The problem arises when those laws are rigtheous. All the laws of God are telling you is to be good, just, fair and generous. An evil god woudlnt demons rigtheousness from his followers.

When you see how the religion itself effects the world

>anti intellectualism in the ancient world
>destruction of pagan institutions
>cannibalized platonism co-opted or just outright erased pre christian works
>destruction of art
>stupid civil wars over religious legalism
>anti intellectualism of the catholic church
>life denialism, annihlationism
>complete misunderstanding of theology of modern followers
>Israel obsession, lack of understanding concepts like the new covenant
>Boomer christians supporting a genocide against people genetically closest to their prophets and turning a blind eye to actual Christians getting slaughtered

Why wouldn't he? If you establish laws, support the unjust, and constantly send demons after people to test them and THEN demand the suffering of animals through sacrifices or personal suffering through fasting and almsgiving to atone for failure, now you get a nice scheme where everyone is unhappy. Those who are evil have more leeway since people feel loyal to God and his laws, people who are loyal feel deeply unhappy about how disordered everything is, and those who sin are burdened by shame and guilt because they can't stop sinning.

If God wanted you to be good, you would be good. He wouldn't let evil spirits or wicked man succeed in harming and tempting people, but he does all the time, so clearly he is evil and permits evil, no matter how much his prophets preach about justice.

>If God wanted you to be good, you would be good
I am good. God made me good when I asked him to. He did so because I obey him and follow his commandments.
