Strictly speaking it was Bush since he came from a long line of political figures who were basically educated from birth in how to govern. His dad was also King Glownigger.

The alternative invariably involves populist outsiders getting their campaign promises cucked to death by everyone from career bureaucrats to their own party members because they have no idea how to actually get the shit they want passed.

As often was true of Princes, Bush Jr.’s upbringing was ultimately in vain because he was simply born retarded. All the resources in the world did not make that man not stupid. Ultimately, leaders are born, not bred.

Bush’s reputation was being kind of funny but also kind of dumb. Not a great personality for the head of state.

His first presidency was just machine gunning out execute orders because he was unable to drum up any support to actually pass shit the normal way, his 2016-2020 legacy is more or less just tax cuts for the rich and deficit spending.

Bush Sr. was kind of incompetent, though. He allowed crime to soar by the early-90's, which allowed Bill Clinton to run to his right on the violent crime issue (hiring 100,000 more cops, lambasting HW for the LA riots, etc.). A competent leader would have done like the El Salvador guy and reduced crime rather than increasing it.

Meh. Who cares. Anyone can be president, that's what makes America great... again!

>>17816045
Bush Sr. was king glownigger so he probably had a better understanding of foreign policy than most presidents since Nixon. He was the U.S. attache to China in the 1970s and bicycled around Beijing. His diaries from this time have been published but I've only read part of it. There was a funny part where met some American Maoists who were visiting China, and one of those guys was like "argggh there's no free speech in America unlike China!" and Bush was like, you have no clue what you're talking about my dude, wait, why am I arguing with this crackpot!?!?

>A group of students put up a large wall poster in Shanghai in late 1974 in which they complained that there was no freedom of speech or rule of law in China and officials were not held accountable for anything. Three of the authors eventually admitted their error and published self-criticisms, the rest were sent to labor camps for political reeducation.[3]
