Neopagans get mad at me for saying this and accuse me of being Christian but seriously - I just don't find ancient Rome/Greece interesting it all reads like capeshit from exotic alien people I don't care much for. The rest of Europe was literally prehistoric before the medieval times as well - look at Scandinavia or Eastern Europe. I really really don't care much for history before 250-300ish AD or so.

>The rest of Europe was literally prehistoric before the medieval times as well - look at Scandinavia or Eastern Europe

This is something I can't wrap my head around. The fact that non-Christian white supremacists point to germanic/nordic civilization as proof of racial superiority, even though these places were by all accounts backwaters that were irrelevant pre-Christianity.

Yeah Northern Europe used to be an equivalent of what Sub-Saharan Africa is now.

That were irrelevant pre-modern heating technology*

Christianity did not make life there any more bearable

Yeah they believe in some really stupid racial determinism where Northern Europe would just magically have become civilized and done everything the same but without the JEWS. Also they like to wewuz as Greeks/Romans no matter how much of an insult this is in denying their alleged Nordic ancestors.

Skadis father Tjasse/Thiazi/Ateas was the last ethnic Scythian king at age 90 that lost to Alexander the Greats father.
The "Shieldmaidens" of norse history is a direct memory from Skadis own lore about Tomyris of the Massagetae whom beat Cyrus the Great and that forced her own Scythian tribe into migrating away from her.
The "War of the Rohirrim" in the LotR universe is a direct portrayal of this conflict between Ateas, the Makedonians and how Skadi ended up migrating when her people lost.
The norse version of the story is far from as romantic as the "anglo-saxon" POV of the same story that Tolkien deliberately tried to frame it from. Tolkien would not say it is an allegory, because it was a deliberate fantasy attempt at portraying how the English WOULD HAVE written down the same lore as the norse, if they had their own grand written mythos like the norse, irish and finnish.

Ah yes Hindu Indians they're really the ones who are into Medieval/Early Modern Europe. They totally aren't the ones posting 90% of Neopagan threads complaining about the Fall of Rome. Btw my ancestors are from Central and Eastern Europe.

Cope. You probably just made an obvious christbeaner comment about why you didn't find the time period interesting which the 'neopagans' (read: anyone that disagreed with you, regardless of religious affiliation) criticised.

Which you prefaced it by saying those comments made neopagans upset.

And - given your nature as a narcissistic faggot that thinks this board needs a thread on time periods you personally are not interested in - you can excuse my skepticism that there were any actual neopagans involved when you've previously stated you did not find the period interesting.

By priests? Or laypeople such as merchants and engineers that happened to be of that specific religion, which was unrelated to their technology?

No, we don't get man. You're allowed to like what you went.
>reads like capeshit from exotic alien people I don't care much for.
What a retarded thing to say? And what does it even mean, that if is too weird that seems alien and otherworldly?
>The rest of Europe was literally prehistoric before the medieval times as well
Clearly it was primitive by Graeco Roman standards (and parts of it still were for much of the middle ages), but not prehistoric in the sense that they were basically cavemen, and you are allowed to be not interested in it.
I am interested in all of history personally, mostly western desu but I see that even Eastern history is objectively just as interesting. I kinda envy you because the less interested you are in something the less you have to learn.
I also think the bronze age (especially Greece) is incredibly interesting.
