The Polish second republic wasnt even created by Versailles, this is a myth.
Versailles merely just confirmed the borders that had been carved out by the Poles themselves when Germany collapsed.

The polish militia took advantage of the fact that the German government had abdicated, the state fell into revolution, the Germany military deserted, secession groups emerging, and the German state could not fully defend or control themselves. Unironically this is how Prussia conquered Poland in 1795. They took advantage of a fracturing state in crisis.
Again, this was before Versailles was even put into effect (which was in early 1920).


Versailles never stipulated the borders of Poland or guaranteed a Polish state, it only stipulated the borders Poland had with Germany. The poles were forces to fight for the independence of their state against everyone else as well (as part of the greater Russian civil war).
