>Claims to be God (John 10:30)
>Asks God why he has forsaken him in the moments before his death (Matthew 27:46)
I get he's quoting Psalms but it's still a pretty obvious admission from Jesus here that he wasn't actually the God he pretended to be.

yknow, most divinity deniers just claim the gospel of john as uninspired or corrupt.

Your claim is that, not only are the gospels truthful in what Jesus said, but the message from them is that Jesus was a con artist?
I'm confused, did you read the rest of John or Matthew where Jesus comes back to life? in Matthew he resurrects a bunch of saints with him.

The resurrection narrative was a later interpolation. The original text of Mark never included it. Anyone who has studied the Bible even a little knows that.

How is it sacred if, by your own admission, key verses are blatant corruptions of the original meaning?

I'm aware of the ending to mark. But that doesn't change OP's claim.
And your claim relies on Mark being the first gospel, which is an unprovable hypothesis with just as much evidence as an Aramaic proto-gospel from Matthew.
We also have manuscript copies of Matthew that date farther back than the first time the ending of Mark is introduced.

thats why I'm confused.
How do you read the entire old testament and get an understanding of the prophecies, then read the new testament, and take away that Jesus wasn't God?

He is human, but he is also fully God.
He is not a flesh puppet. He is a fully conscious human bound by the same limitations as all of us. His miracles are not his but of the Holy Spirit who abides by the will of the Father

The Trinity is much easier to understand when you stop thinking of God as some being on a throne in the sky
Instead, think of God as everything in this world

Every single material is just a finite piece of an infinite being, and he is allowing us to choose whether we want to join him in his full body or to be separated from him

God is the culmination of all of creation
Holy Spirit is the divine will of the creator
And Jesus is the Lord's will given flesh in order to pay the debt that we owe.

Jesus crying out to the actual God about being forsaken by him is one clue lol. He also promised to return within the generation of his apostles alongside apocalyptic signs, which never panned out (Matthew 24:34)

>He also promised to return within the generation of his apostles alongside apocalyptic signs
This is a misunderstanding
Read up the previous verse (Mark 23)

Jesus was not talking about the apostles.
He was talking about Israel itself and how she killed every single prophet sent out to redeem her
Jesus warns that if Israel were to finally accept him as King, he shall immediately return. But they didn't, and thus, the temple was destroyed

It is unknown whether his term is still up. If Israel were to be 100% Christian (under its own free will), then maybe Jesus would finally return.

>Jesus crying out to the actual God about being forsaken by him is one clue lol.
but he wasnt tho. (You) even said yourself, he's quoting Psalm 22.
Traditionally, The word of abandonment has referred to the moment when Jesus took upon himself the sins of humanity, the Father had to turn away from the Son because the Father is "of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong".
>Habakkuk 1:3 - Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing. Why then do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?

>He also promised to return within the generation of his apostles
no he didnt.
>Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
In the previous verses he is speaking of the end times and this verse is about the generation during the end times.
"this generation in the end times will see all of the signs and Christ's return. "
Jesus already told the disciples they would be long dead by that time in 24:9
> “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. "

There's an interesting discrepancy between Matthew and Mark on Jesus' death. While Matthew has it there was immediately an earthquake, and:

"Now when the centurion and those with him, who were keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were terrified and said, “Truly this man was God’s Son!”

Mark doesn't include the earthquake, and instead just says that, "Now when the centurion who stood facing him saw that in this way he breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was God’s Son!"

So, in Mark's account, it was somehow only observing Jesus' dying moments that provoked the statement "Truly this man was God's Son!" But that's strange, isn't it? Was he being sarcastic? Or is Mark implying that the centurion realized something that isn't obvious, something which the reader, in Mark's mind, should also be able to pick up on?

>I get he’s quoting Psalms
It is clearer if you read the entire Psalm. Here is Psalm 22:10 from the same Psalm Jesus quoted.
> I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

Jesus himself admitted to existing before he came down, see John 3:13 and John 17:5, if the father has been Jesus’s God ever since he is in his mother’s belly, but Jesus existed before being in his mother’s belly. Then Jesus is God that became man and the father became his God.

Even Christians accept that Jesus did not fulfil the prophecies, hence why they invented the 2nd coming to give him another chance to fulfil the rest (basically all of them except irrelevant shit anyone could have done like being born to a young women, entering Jerusalem on a donkey or getting arrested with criminals)
Plus, the Old Testament is explicit that there’s only one God and never predicts messianic divinity.
