I think that's the biggest difference between capitalism and communism is that while communism is inherently ideological, capitalism largely isn't, even though people on the left will often attempt to frame capitalism as an ideology, in reality it's just mercantilism, there is no infighting within capitalist countries over what actions are going to impact the purity of capitalist ideals, this just doesn't happen outside of strawmen
