God was the one who actually took away their immortality though. It's wild how Christians seem to forget that everything Satan does is within God's framework, because God is supposed to be the universe's ultimate power.

This just devolves into them saying you must change your ways or that God is testing us. But for some reason I cannot opt out because of what others have done. This is why Gnosticism likely got obliterated, though even that still has the same problems as far as God intervening.
