Because it was the moment many were redpilled on kikes and the JQ in general. What's your excuse for continuing to be a good goy after all the humiliation rituals they've put your generation through, zoomie? Are you just gay or brown?

For Boomers maybe, but 9/11 wasn't even the first major terrorist attack in the US. Why didn't the Oklahoma City bombing have as big of an impact for example?
I'll tell you why, it's because that one was carried out by a domestic terrorist while 9/11 was carried out by Muslims, so it created a scapegoat and casus belli for a war that lasted 10 years too long. It wasn't the terrorist attacks themselves, it was the response to them, because boomers are all braindead warmongering neocons and are always the first group to call an end of American idealism because of the latest boogeyman of the week because boomers actually hate their country, and as soon as the last of the boomers are finally dead, we will finally have a return to Pax Americana

OKC had limited casualties and was a targeted response to Federal overreach at Ruby Ridge/Waco.

No it didn't, there were several high-profile plane hijackings throughout the 90s involving Muslim terror groups including the Taliban, 9/11 was just the culmination of that.

For people born post cold war.
Since we weren't emotionally invested in cold war
for me the cold war might as well have been 100 years away. I had no reference for caring about USSR, communists, da ruskies etc.
that era ended with the wall falling
So for me the story of geo politics sort of starts with 9/11.
Like if you have a story it usually starts out normal and then something drastic happens to start the story. The catalyst.
If you didn't experience this then maybe you don't realize how drastic it was.
Almost everything from then on in some way revolves back to 9/11.
It set the tone for the post cold war era

Because most people saw it as a culmination of white redneck rage in an era that was supposed to be the "end of history". When Clinton left office there was an air of uncertainty as to how things would pan out after an era of unprecedented prosperity in which only "dey took our jerbs" found room for complaint.
Don't shoot the messenger though, I was on the right mainly in that time period and was wholly out of step with times. I can only garner some insight after becoming self aware after some time.

The parents of Millennials were insufferable boomer hippies who kept them in a suburban bubble while they ruined the country. So even though they presided over the period where it became obvious the "far-right" were right all along, no teenage rebellion, not even against their parents, just occupy wall street and project chanology.
