I would very much like to learn more about the history of Nepal, Tibet, Mongolia, Siberia, and generally just the Tibetan Plateau and areas surrounding it. After experiencing a trip to Nepal and doing the Everest Base Camp Trek, I want to know more about that sparsely populated area on the world map. I love Alpine climates. I love grasslands. I love parts of the world that remain untouched by the modern grasp.
So do you guys know any good youtube channels?

I'm currently watching this one. Itโ€™s uh, pretty gloomy. I don't think this attitude of self-reliance still exists for the Sherpa people. The people seemed much happier when I went there. I think tourism really helped improve their quality of life

All I know is that youโ€™re a pussy for flying all the way there near Mount Everest just to go to the base camp only. You couldโ€™ve stayed awhile, maybe introduce some bible study sessions with the nepalese so they can get familiar with Jesus

Listen close, gay boy. I hiked from 9,400 feet to 17,600 feet. The highest human settlement in the world is 16,730 feet. Humans cannot survive on their own higher up. No, I didn't want to shell out 150k to be put on a ventilator and have a sherpa carry me up while he held my hand.
I will not sit here and be called a pussy for hiking to the ends of the earth and entering a sacred realm of ice and stone, where nothing grows.

And half of that was the airfare. For real, all adult males should go here at least once.
