If you read Polish history you'll just realize the their nobility self sabotaged their country for 300 centuries and basically fucked themselves over by refusing to reform the Commonwealth and constantly sabotaging the development of urban industries etc.
The "Sarmatians"/Szlachta didn't even consider Polish commoners to be the same race as them. The total extermination of this class by the Germans and later by the Soviets was and will remain a long term benefit for Poland.

If you knew something about the history you'd be aware that they tried multiple times over the course of the last 150 years of its existance, but it's hard to reform a country when objection of only one (1) MP is enough to break the parliament.
