Suppose someone lives in a constitutional parliamentary democracy, are there any loopholes he/she can use to transform it into an absolute monarchy?

The country in question is a tropical island. How could the individual in question achieve the goal above and crown himself/herself absolute monarch (King/Queen) of the nation in question?

Can he/she legally partition the nation (it has many uninhabitable islets) without having to debate/discuss this in a parliament?

Also can he/she negotiate and scheme with a superpower to install a military base on the said islet so as to protect himself/herself without having to debate/discuss this in the parliament.

He/she would also negotiate the funding of his crowning ceremony, royal expenses and daily finances of his new country by becoming a satellite and puppet nation of this superpower.

Thus, royal maids, guards, any other employees, etc.. will be natives of the superpower country. The new country's in question will use the superpowers currency as legal tender. The new monarch would also receive shares in the superpower's governmental companies. The superpower would also help the new country in its aim of becoming internationally recognised in the United Nations.

Would you consider all of these a fair/profitable/advantageous trade?

Finally, are there any disadvantages to all of these?

I mean assuming a constitutional democracy runs as it's stated to run and you don't get any Schmittian stuff happening in the background to legally institute monarchy you need to get enough seats in the parliament to rewrite the constitution, most countries have a threshold for that(usually 75%). Assuming you can keep the discipline in the party to vote yes for your new constitution turning the country into an absolute monarchy there are no barriers from that point on, it's all legal, no matter what you put in top of it.
About the only limitation is the choice of monarch, if you pick yourself you're effectively doing what an Idi Amin did, as in it'll be dictatorship with crazy person at the helm, so it probably has to be a kind of person the broader international aristocracy would find at least palatable if not being literally one of them.

However that's the formal thing and assumes that most likely the courts won't start just hobbling you as you're trying to snowball this kind of movement

>disadvantage of being a banana republic dictator

Scenario 1 : the superpower will just overthrow you to place a more loyal dog from your party/junta (noriega style) if you want more shares from the exploitation

Scenario 2 : the superpower will have/elect a new leader that doesnt like dictatorships and will over throw you
