Why are Iberians the only border country of Europe without xenophobic traits?
Every other border country clearly displays blood memory of fighting Mongols, Turks or Arabs by revelling in xenophobia (Poland, Hungary, Romania, Italy, Greece, etc.), how come Spain and Portugal don't seem to exhibit the same kind of ethnic paranoia?

You can notice conversely that non-border countries such as England, Holland, Sweden or Germany don't seem to possess a natural xenophobic instinct, which is easily explained with history and geography

Because they are still mostly white. So this means they are pretty pro social, follow the rules, love women, love feminism, love the other etc..
They truly are dark skinned scandinavians. No joke.
Eastern europeans, balkanoids and Italians are anti social monsters. Probably a mix of selection effects and actual Mena admix depending on the population.

I can tell you that different regions in the peninsula are horribly xenephobic towards people in other regions
very clear when northerners, in both portugal and spain, call the southerners moors or africans. some of them jokingly, at least at first, but many of them will not hesitate to attribute real meaning to those "jokes" regarding the southerner's character, intelligence, corruption, etc.

The 20th century dictatorships of Franco and Salazar left a bad taste in Iberian mouths for right wing ideas, you can even see this in the center-right parties taking names usually associated with the center-left, the Social-Democratic Party in Portugal and the People's Party in Spain.
