There was never any real resistance to Nazism in Germany. Le good nazis and muh clean Wehrmacht didn't exist besides a few outliers like Canaris.
Most of the anti-Nazi resistance were just Prussian aristocrats afraid of losing the war, and believed Germans had a right to enslave Europe and exterminate non-Germans. They might have preferred this to be done in a more orderly fashion or under a monarch instead of a fuhrer but the overall goal remained the same, but instead of obstinately refusing to surrender, just blame everything on Hitler and try and seek an alliance with the Western Allies against the USSR. Then continue with National Socialism under a different name and keep doing the Holocaust and Generalplan Ost.
Tresckow, Nebe, Ewald Loeser were all involved in war crimes and genocide. Loeser was convicted of war crimes by Allies after the war. The majority of plotters supported the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Germany and genociding Slavs.
>As Chief of Staff of the 2nd Army, Tresckow signed an order on 28 June 1944 to abduct Polish and Ukrainian children in the so-called Heu-Aktion (Hay Action). Between 40,000 and 50,000 Polish and Ukrainian children aged 10 to 14 were kidnapped for Nazi Germany's forced labour programme.
Does this sound like a guy with a clean conscience to you?
Stauffenberg was a die hard German supremacist who hated Poles and wanted Poland to be a colony for Germans where the Polish would be slaves.
>Stauffenberg said, "It is essential that we begin a systemic colonization in Poland. But I have no fear that this will not occur"
>Upon completion of the Polish campaign in 1939, for instance (in which he had served as a staff officer in a Light Panzer Division), he described the Poles as 'an unbelievable rabble' of 'Jews and mongrels' who were 'only comfortable under the knout'. He would go on to advocate the systematic colonisation of occupied Poland by Nazi Germany.
They had literally the same exact belief system as Adolf Hitler.
