this country called germany lost a war and was humiliated, and a generation of bitter people were won over by fanatics during a time of depression and political chaos
this charsmaic art nerd and war veteran and his people eventually got to the top and fixed a lot of things, but they didn't really know how to run an economy long term so they started a war and lost again
this was all happening at a time that was the climax of a lot of issues regarding politics, race, technology and globalism and it totally got out of control and was was the craziest shit biggest war ever anywhere

He was a dictator in Germany who started World War 2. He rose to power because after Germany lost World War 1, the economic sanctions put on Germany made the materialistic conditions so poor that living a decent life became hard. And after the USA suffered a much lesser but still pretty big economic crisis, they couldn't continue to loan Germany money to help keep it afloat.

Hitler decided to blame all of Germany's problems on Jews, gays, you name it. He also decided to expand his nation's borders with a colonial mindset. At first Europeans tried to appease Hitler and let him steal some land. But he never stopped, so war was declared. There are 2 World Wars, WW1 and WW2. Neither of these wars included the whole world. But most of the Western world and some countries outside of it. These were really big wars that involved a lot of countries. Hitler killed millions of people and committed a lot of genocide. Eventually, he committed suicide right before he completely lost the war.
