>Why call Him God if He is not omnipotent?
Because He is still the most powerful being there is. You can't defeat him, nothing can, not permanently. The absence of Him is minimal. He is the primary force, He doesn't need to be omnipotent, just the potentest.

The most reasonable "debunk" of the Epicurean Paradox is that God is not wholly-good. His actions are idiosyncratic and beyond our understanding. It's a shit cope but it's still the best one thus far.

Was just thinking about this eating in my car outside Burger King as a fat agnostic manchild. If God loves us, what He loves has got to be our entire selves/souls, not our personas or our achievements (even though those are part of the entire self story). Suffering is the state that brings our entire selves closer to the window where we can see our entire selves a little like God would see them and then we can act accordingly. And lives cut prematurely by means outside their control will reincarnate somewhere more suitable. Other evils happen for good reasons we can't discern and survivors of them are more likely to salvationate.

The human body, which is the product of billions of years of evolution, could undoubtedly only exist with profound evil. Anyone that can ask this question is in a creation that either has a creator that is not entirely good or no creator at all. I still think that calling Yahweh the highest divine being, but not the creator, is the best call to make, since it strips him of any responsibility for creating mankind's predicament and makes him more of a teacher and political leader. Which aligns with what you said.

Well if he's lying about being all-good and all-powerful. How do we know he's even the most powerful?
For all we know YHWH is actually a Dickhead Deva from the middle east with Delusions of Grandeur who wnats to psy-op the entire world into worshipping him.
