"Aryan" doesn't mean they particularly liked the population or anything. The term was used(sparsely) in the sense of "Indo-European" and intended to contrast with Jews(Semites), it doesn't mean much more than "white gentile" in the context of National Socialism. Classifying an ethnicity as Aryan doesn't mean Germany liked that ethnicity in any way.
