Reminder: Rome came up with the rule of the people, by the people before the gayreeks did. Roman republicanism goes back to 510 BC, Athenian democracy to 507 BC, GREEKS DIDN'T INVENT IT

Romans, and Central Italians as a whole hardly ever interacted with Greeks until they literally invaded them in Southern Italy, and by that point their society was 90% of what they would always be, before any real Greek influence.

The Etruscans were also hardly influenced by the Greeks. As far as you can tell it stops at art. Any actual view of what Etruscan society and culture looked like doesn't come into view until the end of the 300's with the rest of Central Italy. and it's very clearly not Greek.

If we're leaving aside the obviously fake supernatural shit in both cases, then, to be fair, a besieged city leaves quite a bit more evidence to find thousands of years later than a mob of unskilled migrant laborers getting butthurt and dipping out on work.

You can just tell by the thumbnail what kind of video this is going to be. It turns out, you can judge a book by its cover. "Not judging a book by its cover" comes from a time when excellent classics might have a plain cover, and you shouldn't discount them for that. But when a creator of content designs / approves a poster or thumbnail, you can be sure their intellect will be captured in the way they chose to represent their work. I read in the book of wisdom or ecclesiasticus or something something to the effect of, "The world will say 'things are not as they appear,' but for those with Wisdom, things are exactly as they appear."

Republics were only a product of Central Italy
Their society was not like Greek society at all, unless you believe that having city states means being Greek. Roman law was different, Roman militarism and social organisation was different, Roman religion was different, they had different Gods, different cults, a different political culture, different ideas of the state and practices.
But they were literally the same fucking thing because art in the region has Greek influence and later literary culture was derived from it.

In what way do you find them different, specifically? It sounds like you're just making assumptions and you have no idea what you're talking about.

Etruscans had more reach and influence on the development of Western material culture than Judaism. Something that evolved from Judaism, a heresy basically to them, was nearly the totality of Jewish achievements until Europe benevolently fostered Ashkenazi identity and culture. Almost all of Jewish identity is a fabrication of the last 2300 years. It is suburban spiritualism. A graft of things.
