The Allied Powers' victory in WWII was pyrrhic and short-lived. Everything the Allied soldiers fought for has ceased to exist, themselves and their worshipping Boomer descendants almost gone. Once this happens, there will be nothing of their cause left. The future will still call the Allies the "Good Guys" of WWII but solely out of an anti-Nazi sentiment and not pro-Allied. The future generations will not be reminiscing of World War-era UK or USA. The Allied Powers will only be viewed as a lesser evil; a tool to destroy the Axis, which, when done, had to go ahead with the leftist grand plan of its own destruction. A whole generation of Westerners, and all their history, disposed of as a one-time-use device to defeat the Fascists. No regard whatsoever for the ideals, the people, the nations these men fought and died for.
An example I note is American general Troy H. Middleton, who opposed desegregation of his university. He was commemorated for decades for his tenure, but was recently rescinded of all memory for his racial views. A small example of how the gratitude has worn off over time. Their legacies will be to only fade into the white shadow of history where you are invariably an evil oppressor no matter what else other than your identity.
