I read the Nuremberg transcripts of Rosenberg, Goering, and others and they confirmed the evidence presented was legitimate. They just tried to argue their way out of it. The claims about every German having their testicles smashed and forged documents, shrunken heads, and lampshades made of human skin presented as evidence from revisionists seem to be a total lie if not an extreme exaggeration.

Dönitz was virtually convicted on no crimes except the fact that he was a die-hard nazi, and they simply couldn't let him go since he would get in the way for the process of de-nazifying Germany.
Best part was that some of the charges pinned on Dönitz completely backfired because it turned out that not only was he innocent, but that the allies had engaged in those very crimes themselves.
Then some allied warcrimes surfaced, such as American planes firing on German submarines carrying civilians and POW to safety.
