>the first man on earth created from clay
>given full consciousness, self awareness and the ability to communicate through speech since creation
>your mystical dad puts you in a vegan utopia
>your mystical dad blesses you with all the fresh fruit and animals for you to enjoy
>your mystical dad also gives you a task to name every single animal in the existence and you have to do in an ancient semitic language that probably nobody is going to speak in the future
>your mystical dad also gives you an order to not eat from some peculiar tree
>you are like "oh ok whatever"
>your mystical dad thinks you are too lonely so he steals a rib from you to make a creature that's like you but different in some ways
>she's kinda of annoying but you find her attractive so it's not too bad
>the creature goes to that peculiar tree your dad warned about
>some talking snake with legs tells her to eat a fruit from it and she does
>she goes up to you and tricks you into eating it too
>your mystical dad finds out
>he gets angry and blames you both
>wtf I only got tricked
>you get kicked out anyway along with your annoying partner and also that snake loses his legs

Yeah wtf did everyone speak? It sure as shit wasnt hebrew, because the Babylonians were not speaking hebrew in the beginning. It is never made clear what exactly they spoke.

The parts of Genesis before Babel have several puns that only work in Hebrew, and I don't see anywhere that it says they weren't.

Sorry, if you believe lies that's your fault, not solely the fault of the person who lied to you. Certainly not the fault of the Lord who fashioned you by his own breath and in his own likeness, who likewise gave himself a ransom for the sins of all so that he might taste death for every man, and purchase eternal life for all those who believe on his name: The name of JESUS.

So was he planning the whole Jesus operation from the beginning? Does that mean he knew Adam would disobey him to begin with? Then how can we say he had any choice in the matter?

>So was he planning the whole Jesus operation from the beginning?
Yep. Jesus is the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
>Does that mean he knew Adam would disobey him to begin with?
Yep.
>Then how can we say he had any choice in the matter?
Because knowing that someone will do something doesn't affect their decision anymore than knowing that someone did do. Also, it doesn't matter.

How does it not matter? The entire justification of "why do bad things happen if God is omnipotent and omnibenevolent" is "free will".

>How does it not matter?
Because you are desperately looking for a reason to not believe in the God you decided long ago that you hate. Whether or not free will exists is irrelevant, and the argument over free will is irrelevant because you can tell you make your own choices just by waking up in the morning.

How would it be just to punish Adam and Eve for something they had no choice in? If there's no free will there are no real choices.
>>17859367
That's not a real rule, someone decided it's bad English to split an infinitive because in Latin you literally can't (since Latin infinitives are a single word) but it has no basis in English usage.
