Why isn't okay to kill the President when he is a dictator who violated the US Constitution, suspended states rights, and sent innocent people to prison without a trial?

God killed the Pharaoh and King Herod for being a dick. the Bible did say itโ€™s okay to kill the president.

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is Godโ€™s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are Godโ€™s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

Confederates attacked first by firing on Fort Sumter. Lincoln was merely putting down an insurrection after the fact.

So Americans were wrong to rebel against Bongs? And Bongs were wrong for rebelling against King James II and Charles I before him?

I don't agree with some of the things Linclon did, but they were very standard things for a 19th century government to do during war time, and most of them were considered constitutional, at least be some. Nor was he a dictator. he was elected twice and showed no sign of desiring that position permanently, or usurping congress or the courts.
> states rights
Do not trump Federal sovereignty. There was no precedent for leaving the union unilaterally and there were many who shared the opinion it was illegal to do so, not just Lincoln.

>So Americans were wrong to rebel against Bongs?
No, because the crown had violated the Great Charter.

>And Bongs were wrong for rebelling against King James II and Charles I before him?
They had each violated the charter.
