What do you think humanity would be like if we had evolved to be obligate carnivores or herbivores?

If we were restricted to only plants or only meat, our cultures, technologies, and even personalities might look very different.

We would not have survived. Omnivore diet allowed the entire energy/food supply into our command.

"White people" are a relatively new branch of humans. For the most of evolution, it was black. Also the "ickiness" is an evolutionary condition designed to make humans avoid bugs because ancient "white people" ancestors did eat bugs, but found them harmful enough to develop the sense of "ickyness" right down to the genetic level.

Cultural taboo isn't a lack of agency. If anything it's the reverse. Only bug people eat bugs.
