He was president for the second half of probably the last good time, culturally and economically speaking, America was ever going to have. From the 90s into the late 00s we were really on a roll, 9/11 and foreign wars tripped us up but the crash finally set in just how permanent the shift of the zeitgeist was. I'm sure him and many others will factor heavily into the post collapse narratives that emerge, but not for their missteps, but as examples of what happens when you allow the sovereign to become a figurehead and let the real levers of power be operated by retard occultists.

The bush family are representatives of old money imperialists that recognize the financial benefits of aggressive US foreign policy. For them war is simply business.

Gore was basically the same candidate.

Obama was really a goldsend for the Democrats. I could see McCain beating Hillary easily in 2008.

This just makes me think though, what if the US continued on the same trajectory as it did during the Bush years during the 2010s and 2020s? And no, Obama definitely didn't keep it on the same trajectory.

Obama was a continuation of bush era policies. Actually he cranked them up to 11. Bush pushed for neo-socialist policies like 0 credit mortgages which crashed the world economy in 2008. Obama largely kept all of the dumbest policies of bush in place and added a bunch on top of them. For instance since the US mortgage banks melted down because of 0 credit mortgages Obama simply nationalized the US mortgage banks so they can never go under. He also destabilized as much and more countries in the middle east for the US state department. Obama Clinton Bush Bush Sr going all the way back to WWI have essentially been the same candidates from the same pro US intervention, pro central bank cartel

zoomers claiming that biden or trump is the worst president of all time always entertains me immensely, it simply shows their lack of wisdom, lack of research, and certainly lack of having been alive in the fairly recent past
bush basically ended up doing all of the warmongering and rescinding of civil liberties that liberals are histrionic about regarding trump
meanwhile he was basically a puppet of an incredibly malignant cabinet which is one of the exact charges that rightwingers have about biden
i'm sure he didn't plan on becoming some dictator - but having your brother of all things in charge of the state that had an immensely controversial recount that decided the election is clearly a conflict of interest and one that's also more corrupt than anything trump or biden has done
bush can and will go down as one of the all-time bad presidents, by my count he's the worst since herbert hoover

Biden was the first time we had someone who was actively suffering from dementia in office, the things they did to him to get coherent sentences was probably obscene, I doubt he wanted the position at all given his advanced age and it definitely seems like he was forced to do it when the DNC realized they had no one to run in 2020.

i'm just going to assume you weren't alive/conscious for bush because that entire administration was run by the likes of cheney (who literally chose HIMSELF as the vp pick when asked by bush to find a viable vp candidate), rumsfeld, and the other neoconservatives who wanted nothing more than to invade the middle east in the name of increasing their own military industrial company stocks and the interests of israel rather than actually be good stewards of this country
at least with biden a large portion of people *knew* he was a a puppet to an extent due to his clear failing physical and mental health
meanwhile bush had the kayfabe of being an actual leader while still being a puppet - and as a result he was able to get away with being a puppet for 4 years longer than biden was

Both Reagan and Bush were pieces of shit who should’ve been hanged in public.

Reagan destroyed the economy with his deregulation policies, turned Wall Street into a casino, and signed NAFTA. Bush turned the country into a surveillance police state and wasted massive amounts of capital and human lives on pointless wars in the desert.

I know a rabid Trump personality cultist. The fact that he justifies the Trump administration admitting to spending 100 billion dollars on ICE, normalizing black sites in America, and paving the way for an AI backed surveillance system that tracks everything you say, do, or write 24/7, while calling some of his own supporters “morons” for wanting the Epstein client list made public, made me realize a certain sect of his supporters are legitimately insane.

I remember Bush well, and as bumbling as he may have been and however evil Cheney was, Biden was an anomaly relative to almost every other world leader, American or not. Was he worse than Bush? Hard to say, I'm not even sure Bush made many decisions of importance, same with Biden.

I wouldn't assume much agency in that decision, he likely knew already that he had prostate cancer and he also probably knew that it wasn't going to get better especially considering his age. Would you want to spend your twilight years in the oval office if you had an aggressive cancer, decaying faculties, and not that much longer left to go? I doubt it, and if he did want it then it is more evidence of his mental unsuitability for the office.

What killed the Hill was pizzagate and the party split between young and old. They probably lost a decent chunk of voters to the fact that they were using campaign emails to order child prostitutes and the whole Epstein connection. Then they lost even more when they had they fucked over the dem-soc retards while simultaneously leaning into a weird id-pol that no one likes. The DNC has been removed from reality for like the last decade and it doesn't seem that they are getting any better.

What killed the Hill was that she was a figure that had been hated by American conservatives for 20 years at that point and was actively driving people to go out and vote against her. Obama won for reasons of populism, same with Trump. Since 2008, the American populace has been largely fed up with insincere corporate talking heads, the fact that the Democrats keep trying to shove these candidates through shows how out of touch they are. The Republicans would be in the same boat if Trump didn't drag them kicking and screaming into the White House.

I remember it being worse from discussions around the time. If it's truly schizophrenic, however, then why did she only eek out a popular vote margin of like 4%. The DNC not taking how dirty their candidates are seriously is part of why they keep losing, Trump had to self-destruct in order for them to even have a chance.

No, this is a cope by Dems to deny the results of the election. Theres literally no proof of this.

A recount was in Florida, Jeb! was governor of the state at the moment, so Dems claimed (without evidence) that Jeb! rigged the recount for his brother.

This is why we need a board to discuss shit without conspiracy theory memes. I can point to you a giant number of differences between the Bush and Obama presidencies. Even simple shit, like Bush preferring boots on the ground and even preventing an earlier advent of drones while Obama was all for droning people and making sure people are distracted with pop culture shit. Bush Era was all gung-ho on patriotism, while Obama basically brought in the woke culture you see now.
>>17866770
Yes, the Obama wave happened because he was a young, hip popular guy who came as an answer to the old establishment. Obama was basically the proto-Trump, given his campaign used social media and pioneered it for campaigning. Also, a lot of Obama supporters switched to Trump when Obama turned from the 'just let gays get married, bro, who cares, they're not hurting anyone' to 'Trayvon Martin could've been my son' without examining just why the latino guy shot him.

Cameron in the UK was basically the Obama model exported, and Macron is essentially the last of that era.

Bush droned people and was called a monster, Obama drones the entire middle east and was called black jesus. The only difference is the legacy media is on team blue.

The point is obama was worse and more imperialistic than bush, and they're all owned by the same people. The problem is the media will literally tell people it's okay that obama drone strikes kids before admitting that something needs to be done about US foreign policy
